If you don't already know about PORTL (Portable Operant Research and Training Lab), then check out the website: behaviorexplorer.com

PORTL is a series of activities that allow a person to work through shaping procedures. Unlike more traditional methods of shaping, where you wait for the learner to figure out what to do, this technique focuses on arranging the environment for success and gradually changing the environment to shape the response.

This video is an example of me shaping the behavior of a 7 year old. I selected a targeted skill and then set up the items to get the response from the learner over a series of trials. We use little cubes as tokens and a clicker to signal correct responses.
