Continuing on with the shop organization projects this spring. Getting the stored lumber in order in next on the list.
There are many plans and videos of people building lumber racks, but honestly I think this is a lot of work without much point. Metal shelving is both the cheapest and strongest way to go, and it turns out to be the easiest too.
I bought the Portamate Wood Shelves (PBR-001) from Amazon. They're not sponsoring this, and I don't even have an Amazon affiliate link. I bought them based on the price, Prime availability, and good reviews.
My own experience matches most of the reviewers. I had no trouble with the installation, and the shelving is more than strong enough for what I need.
