The South Wales Valleys are a group of industrialised peri-urban valleys in South Wales.
Most of the valleys run north-south, roughly parallel to each other. We travel from port talbot ‘steel town’ to Rhondda valleys towards neath.. South Wales is defined by the valleys that etch its landscape, each with its own unique personality. The historic industrial valleys, green again with country parks and forests, form the centrepiece of this welcoming region.
