While you do not have to safely lift and support the vehicle or remove the rear tires to remove the rear wing, we would advise it. You are going to removing several components to get to the wing and it makes it easier. When a procedure is shown on one side do the same for both sides of the 991.2 unless noted. As these vehicles age you are probably going to find a mismatch of fasteners. Please check each before removing to make sure you are using the correct tool for that fastener.
