Description of my install of the Provent 200 catch can to the engine CCV system.
I kept in place the OEM air-oil separator and installed the unit after this prior to entry to the intake manifold. I disabled the Provent pressure regulator to keep the stock crankcase pressures. In this way the Provent acts as a filter only.
I searched for a suitable location and the right side of the engine bay was the only place that I found it would fit. I'd have preferred to not attach it to the engine, but this was the only place I found that had suitable anchor points.
The DIY is reasonably extensive, with a number of factors that needed considering, hence the long video.
I'm hoping to significantly reduce the amount of oil getting to the intake ports and hence the amount of carbon buildup and the need to remove the intake manifold and clean.
