I’ve wanted to capture porcupines grooming each other for awhile, but it seems I never have the camera ready when they do. Today, when the baby porcupine was 3 days old, everyone was calm and relaxing. They laid as a family unit at the bottom of our stairs for hours as I marveled at their compassion for each other.
