During the short fall 1994 tour, Porcupine Tree premiered two new songs to their growing audience. One of them, Moonloop had been laid down that June and ended up as the B-Side to Star's Die. The other one however, was a new piece that segued into Radioactive Toy. This track was The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase Two).
The studio version of the track would see a release as the final song on 1995's The Sky Moves Sideways. In a live setting, only the first part of the song (...Is Not) was played live. The song was dropped from regular performance at the end of the first leg of the Sky Moves Sideways tour, although it was resurrected for the band's second ever US performance in 1996, and for night three of their Frontiera club residency in 1997. The latter version ended up being released first as a download only track from the band's website and was later included on the expanded version of the band's 1997 live album Coma Divine.
