In 1995 Porcupine Tree played a series of shows in Italy to sold out crowds. The gig was brought about by Radio Rock, an Italian Radio Station that had championed the band. The station also invited Steven and Chris for an acoustic session.
The duo premiered Stars Die and Nine Cats along with a stripped down version of Waiting (Phase One) for listeners.
The band would return to Italy in 1997 for a short tour that would be captured on the legendary Coma Divine live album.
