It was a real privilege to welcome Her Majesty Queen Camilla to London Paddington for the Armistice Day commemoration service in rail’s bicentenary.

We remembered those who served and sacrificed for our freedom, by bringing poppy wreaths from across the GWR network, by train, to lay at the war memorial.

As we reflect on the day we are solemnly reminded of the price that was paid by so many, and we are truly honoured to have been able to play our part in remembering them.
