During his third parish visit in Rome, Pope Leo XIV met with parishioners at the Parish of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ March 1, 2026. Thanking the community and the Dehonian Fathers, he said that while evil exists, “more important is that good exists, love exists,” and he urged people to “build community,” saying the love of God makes a family able to support those facing illness, disability and other struggles.
