I knew if I wanted to have this one done right I needed to jump on it quickly. I didn't make the original Ponycraft video so I wasn't really concerned with keeping characters consistent. Still, I tried to avoid using some of the same scenes with a few exceptions.
I may have cheated a bit and removed some of the audio, but it was mostly repetitive stuff that I didn't want to find another scene for. Here's the trailer if you want to compare. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG_3R9BoVvg
If you're wondering how long this took to make, the answer is two days. One day to find all the scenes and arrange them, and another day to do all the lip syncing and that annoying cloud transition at the end. If that seems fast, it is. I really wanted to get this out as quick as possible before anyone else had the same idea.
As always, try and limit your replies to the haters strictly to those of the Love and Tolerance variety.

We were given a playlist of 45 songs to choose from, and 100 hours to make whatever we wanted. I figured Love Death and Robots would be a pretty versatile source and ended up with plenty of ideas. This one only took about 4 hours to make, but its probably the best of the three.

I had been keeping my eye out for a song to use with this show, and when the K/DA -Pop/Stars music video came out, I knew it was the one. Starting in 2017 I worked on this video for 3 years and 8 months. It took so long because I was also writing a book and working full time. Had I worked on this video exclusively, it would only have taken about a year, maybe less.
This is definitely my crowning achievement when it comes to flow and sync. I put a lot of work into the transitions, much of which will go unnoticed. All effects were masked out of clips from show itself so that they appear as natural as possible.
In fact, the most complicated transition in this video is nearly invisible unless youre looking for it. At 2:05, I needed the clip of Diana flying to keep going for a second longer than it actually was, so I used the flash of her spell to transition into another similar clip later in the movie. If you look at the background, you can see the change. I also had to digitally remove the kid riding with her in the second clip because it would be strange for him to suddenly appear there.
