The Pontiac Central Chiefs entered week #8 with a 4-3 record. The Chiefs were fighting to keep their state playoff hopes alive against a 1-6 Berkley team which upset the Chiefs last year on homecoming, 49-20. The Chiefs won 13-6 and were led by Mikey Thompson and DeAngelo Jackson.
