Fall is my favourite time of year to risk ditching some of the barriers that stand between me and the beautiful Canadian wilderness. Tarps, tents, bug nets, screens are all designed to allow you to get close to nature but not too close. On this overnight I want to see the northern lights, sleep next to the fire with a poncho for protection from the rain and a sleeping bag to keep me warm. I want to feel like I am immersed in nature. You need great weather and no bugs to do this in comfort. Sometime fall will give you this wonderful combination. You will enjoy this video series if you hike, backpack, trek, paddle, kayak, climb, pedal, wilderness camp, or love it all!
