The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of its new skatepark.
One of the skatepark's signature features is a custom Pompano fish sculpture designed specifically for skaters to launch up the ramp and grind along the fish, combining the City's coastal identity with a unique, one-of-a-kind skating experience that can't be found anywhere else.
Designed and constructed by New Line Skateparks, one of the nation's premier skatepark design and construction firms, the new facility was created with input from the local skating community and offers a dynamic mix of street and transition features that accommodate skateboarders, bike and scooter riders, and inline skaters of all skill levels.
The skatepark represents the City's continued investment in expanding high-quality recreational amenities while creating an exciting destination for residents and visitors to enjoy for years to come.
Skatepark will be open to the public Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
