In this video, I test Polymaker PPS-GF20 filament, a high-temperature, glass-fiber-reinforced engineering material.
Besides the mechanical properties, many viewers are especially curious about one thing: does it still sound like metal?
I go through printing behavior, shrinkage, brittleness, slicer settings, and a full set of mechanical tests including tensile, shear, torsion, creep, impact, and temperature resistance.
All results are generated using the same test methodology I use across the channel, so they can be directly compared with other materials I’ve tested earlier.
