Doing some pollinating, talking about new methods. Pollen is processed and ready for sale in the webstore.
Organza bags. I think these large bags are worth buying for me, considering the amount of pollinating I'm planning to do using the bagging of branches method. If you are just doing a few small sections, there is probably something around the house you can use, or buy some mesh material from a second hand store. I just ordered the 4x6 round bottom, 12x16 rectangular and 16x24 inch rectangular bags. The 4x6 I'm going to try for individual clusters. I think they will be easy and fast to put on. The bags I ordered last year are durable and okay for covering fruit. The larger ones I got worked well on grape clusters to keep birds off. they also held up well in the sun all summer.
