In this video, I clean up some dirty mercury that I have had for a long time.
Note: As of a few days later, there appeared to be a build-up of a different, completely insoluble white chloride on the surface. This was probably silver chloride. It has also since stopped being produced, and the mercury no longer tarnishes, even out of acid. Any lead and silver appear to have been removed.
