A police officer in India performed life-saving CPR on a snake. Viral video of the incident, recorded in Madhya Pradesh on Oct 24, shows the officer giving the reptile mouth-to-mouth.
According to local reports, the snake had ingested pesticides in a local water system. It was released safely back into the wild following its rehabilitation.
Per Reuters, the policeman, identified as Atul Sharma, has been rescuing snakes ‘since 2008 and has allegedly saved over 500 of them so far.’
