Police investigating the case of the Shanxi boy who had eyes gouged out last week say that he was assaulted by his aunt. The boy's aunt committed suicide shortly after the boy's attack and traces of his blood was found on her clothing. The aunt had always been a suspect but the boy's family insisted they were on good terms with her. Her motives are still unclear at the moment.
