Minneapolis, Minnesota Police Chief Brian O’Hara, announced he is a Roman Catholic. He then went on to say in reference to the Holy Family, he said,
“How Mary and Joseph themselves were considered outsiders, and forced to stay in a barn.”
Forced to stay in a barn? Well, if the good chief was familiar with the Holy Bible, Luke, chapter 2, verse 7, he would have realized he made mistake.
Luke, chapter 2, verse 7, reads:
“…….and she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.”
They were not “forced,” to stay in the barn. It was because there was “no place for them in the inn.”
