Discover the PolarFire® FPGA Ethernet Sensor Bridge Rev 2.0, a smaller, lower-cost and more scalable solution for connecting high-speed image sensors to NVIDIA® AI computing platforms.
Built around the power-efficient PolarFire MPF200T FPGA, Rev 2.0 supports up to four MIPI® CSI-2® cameras, two 10G SFP+ Ethernet ports, direct NVIDIA Jetson™ camera connectivity and the NVIDIA Holoscan™ SDK ecosystem. It provides a validated development platform for deterministic, multi-sensor edge AI pipelines.
In this video, we highlight five key updates in Rev 2.0:
1. 60% smaller form factor and lower price point than Rev 1.0
2. Twice the camera support, with four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 receive interfaces versus two on Rev 1.0
3. Direct NVIDIA Jetson camera connector compatibility for four-camera systems
4. New on-board optical latency measurement circuitry
5. New PMOD expansion, complementing the FMC connector retained from Rev 1.0
These enhancements make the PolarFire FPGA Ethernet Sensor Bridge Rev 2.0 well suited to applications including multi-camera edge AI, industrial vision, robotics, autonomous systems and other high-speed sensor processing applications.
