This cheeky polar bear has been filmed trying to find joy with a discarded old boot, as his once icy home has melted away leaving him on baron rocks. Dr Manish Nagpal, 51, a keen wildlife photographer spotted this polar bear whilst visiting Svalbard, Norway on a wildlife trip to see the arctic wildlife. Dr Manish said: "We started to take pictures from a distance and suddenly one of my co-passengers checked one of his photos and realised that on magnifying it seems the polar bear had a shoe in its mouth, we all realised the same once we zoomed into the photos. "The bear, who seemed to be almost displaying the shoe looking towards us and playing with it like how a dog plays with a toy... and this went on for almost half hour when suddenly the shoe just dropped from its mouth and fell into the water. "After that he did not make any attempt to retrieve it, it almost felt as if he seemed a little sad that he had lost his toy. "With all the issues regarding melting snow, receding snow and glacier cover we almost felt as if we were coming back with a polar footprint literally."
