Seriously, fuck this trashcandoorbutton puzzle. It's not difficult, but the random aspect of it is fucking infuriating. I'm glad I got lucky this time around.
Surge's Raichu is a one-hit wonder. Literally. Not only because Raichu is all he has but all its attacks are pretty strong. Mega Kick especially. A ground type, preferably with Dig, would be handy for obvious reasons.
Or you could go Hard Mode/stay true to the anime and pit Pikachu against it, like I did. Though I doubt drowning Raichu with Surf is quite doing it right.
Major events:
*Bulbasaur GET! Named it Venus.
*Taught Kevin Mega Punch with TM01.
*Venus and Smaug both evolved into Ivysaur and Charmeleon, respectively.
*Taught Venus Body Slam with TM08 and Cut with HM01.
