With seven gym badges, three Team Star crews defeated, and four Titans defeated, we are near the endgame. I quickly start off with a raid on the Team Star Fighting Crew (4:38) and then take on their leader, Eri. She is the toughest of the Team Star bosses, with her team being in the mid-50s. With her stepping down, there is only one crew left, so I immediately head over to the Poison Crew Base and raid it (22:17). I quickly take out Atticus due to his Pokémon being in the low 30s. With his defeat, the ★ Starfall Street ★ quest is at the endgame, as Cassiopeia reveals that she is the true leader of Team Star (31:53) and wants us to challenge them to a battle. I go through Team Star bases that I didn’t search through before to find TMs and items, and I find another stake, this time, in the North Province (41:17).
I eventually head back to Uva Academy since it is nighttime (57:51). Clive stops me, revealing himself to be Director Clavell and supposedly Cassiopeia, so he battles me (58:49). His battle theme is great, and with his Pokémon being in the 60s, you need to make sure you are prepared for him, since I wasn’t with them taking out Skeledirge early on. I keep on using revives on him to bring him back and eventually manage to take out the reset of his team, even Quaquaval, the fully evolved form of Quaxly. After defeating him, Clavell reveals he isn’t Cassiopeia and wanted to make sure I was ready to take them on. After stocking up on X items that I will very likely need, I head to the Schoolyard, finally encountering Cassiopeia, who turned out to be Penny. After revealing why she created Team Star, we finally battle. It’s pretty clear that they went all out with these final battle themes. Her team is a full of Eeveelutions, so I use X items to get Skeledirge’s stats boosted before sweeping her. After the battle, Dragonair evolved into Dragonite, and we see Penny meeting up with the Team Star Bosses and making up with them. Then, before I head to the Director’s Office, I help out Instructor Tyme with her issue (1:25:50), which is the first of many times I can talk to her because I completed her classes. I head to the Director’s Office (1:27:26) where he has a few final words for this story, then I meet up Instructor Tyme a few more times (1:29:59), (1:31:15), (1:32:32), and in the end, she gives me 50 Rock Tera Shards (1:34:24), which is just enough to change the Tera Type of a Pokémon. I head back out of the building and meet up with Penny (1:35:35), who thanks you for your help, and the game marks ★ Starfall Street ★ as complete.
With that out of the way, I head back to Glaseado Mountain so I can quickly travel to Casseroya Lake, the location of the final Titan. I finally find Dondozo, the False Dragon Titan, and easily whittle its health with Gengar’s Thunderbolt. I track it down as it runs away and defeat it with Arven’s help (even though I accidentally take out his Greedent) and the help of X items. However, that isn’t the end of it, since the Tatsugiri managed to survive, and is much stronger than Dondozo. This time, Arven truly manages to help out and we take it out, so Miraidon is able to unlock its final ability, (1:52:28), which allows it to climb vertically now. Arven’s Masosstiff heals completely as well. Professor Turo calls us while we are still in the cave, which surprises Arven. Turo tells Arven to go back to the Lighthouse on Poco Path. Before I do that, I find two stakes around the Lake (1:57:54), (1:58:33) before heading off to Turo’s lab.
Turo tells us that we need to head to Area Zero in the Great Crater of Paldea to help him out. We head back outside where Arven wants to have another battle with us to make sure he is ready for the expedition. I manage to nearly sweep his team, but Masosstiff is slightly faster and takes out Skeledirge along with a couple other members of my team. Gyarados finally takes it down with the help of some X items. With Arven’s defeat, he mentions that we will need help from at least two other people, and runs off to find them, marking the Path of Legends path is marked as complete (2:14:26). With one final Gym remaining, I save.
