_Things Roy took away from the others after the time skip:_

Liko's spotlight (on and off battles), her role as the heart of the team, and teaming up with Amethio in the finale. And arguably, Mega Evolution.

Dot's rivalry against Chalce (barely anything she had going on against the evil team, really) to shove in a very forced same Fighting-type Mega Evolution battle with his shiny Mega Lucario Z for its last hurrah (by the way, that shiny color is god awful, but that's just my opinion). Oh, and he gets to say a _friendship speech_ as if he had always fought her before. How SWEET.

Ult's chance to catch Rayquaza (pfft, as IF they were going to toss a curve ball and give it to the kid who basically became his gofer since he appeared late into the story).

Friede's leadership of the Rising Volt Tacklers.
