I... have a confession to make. I do not actually like the current state of the Pokémon TCG, and this side set is a large part of the reason why. Whilst it's awesome that such a compact set has so many playable cards, the direction decks have been forced to go as a result of 3 cards in particular is completely antithetical to my enjoyment that I just cannot get behind playing. Despite that (and the burnout the others have been dealing with) we WILL see this out, but don't expect me to sing the praises of the remaining sets we have to talk about.
This video was done live on Twitch after our test session. Maybe not the best idea since I was pretty hacked off after said session, but honestly I don't think any other time would've mattered. The game is just... not in a great place at the moment for my tastes, you know?
