With Pokémon Scarlet and Violet releasing at the end of this week, TPCi has made Series 14 the final series for Ranked Battles in Pokémon Sword and Shield. I'm normally not a fan of going through competitive PvP battles, but Game Freak basically forced people who like to collect every Ribbon to go through it. That means there will be no more monthly resets, so I made sure to reach Master Rank in case I wanted to get the Master Rank ribbon on Pokémon down the road.
It was a tough grind, but I managed to get four wins in a row to go from Ultra Ball rank to Master Ball. The team I used is based on one shown off by CybertronVGC back in Series 12: youtu.be/qkTyV-SjUck
I decided to change some things such as using Whimsicott for Tailwind support and removing Choice Scarf from Kyogre. Zacian turned out to be the MVP for a couple of battles in this videos thanks to it having Quick Attack to take out two Regielekis since the latter would always outspeed Zacian. Of course, to get four wins in a row, you will need to be lucky with your matchups as well.
