![[Pokémon X] All 8 Gym Leader Battles
Quite a video you didnt expect, did you?
Well, here it is. My blasting through (almost) all of Pokémon X their Gym Leaders. It really shows how easy it is to overlevel my Pokémon. At a certain point, while playing, I actually decided to just disable the Exp. Share for the rest of the game, or else the fun will just end sooner...
I also added extra, personal challenges to this game:
- I do not leave a Gym to heal at a Pokecenter. The only exception I made to this rule was at Gym 5 and 8 due to PP running out.
- Fight all trainers in a Gym.
- Use no Mega evolutions. (Aside from testing it and showing it to classmates)
- Catch one of every kind of Pokémon in each Route.
(Mostly succeeded in this. In case I did not catch a Pokémon, means that I was not aware of the Pokémon being in a route)
- My final team must consist of one Pokémon of every Generation. (1. Blastoise, 2. Tyranitar, 3. Blaziken, 4. Garchomp, 5. Sigilyph, 6. Chesnaught)
New editing method ideas came to me at almost every Gym, and even more ideas came while I was editing. I hope you all like the multiple screens showcasing setup, it did take quite some work.
Yes, the Mega Lucario rematch with the third trainer is left out.
And that is about it, I enjoyed this game for well over 60 hours now, and a full Elite 4 and Champion battle coverage video coming hopefully soon. [Pokémon X] All 8 Gym Leader Battles](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YB-IIbqcnO4/mqdefault.jpg)
![[Mario Kart 7] Ultra Road - 1:36.547 - Gogoku7 (2nd Worldwide / European Record)
Happy to be on the #2 spot again, but man, every Section has a big failure in this run, It really embarrasses me knowing this couldve easily been a 1:36.49X or even 1:36.40X.
Mistakes:
Section 1: Missing an SMT on the final corner. ~.1 loss?
Section 2: Missing the first boost panel upon landing the first Glider. ~.1 loss
Section 3: Missing the boost ring ~.1 loss
All in all, its utterly stunning that this is still even a 1:36.5.
Splits:
Section 1: 32.099
Section 2: 35.351
Section 3: 29.097
I messed up a little bit on the editing when trying some new methods, but the video is still fine.
I dont have time to play anymore, or work on videos for now, school is becoming really busy the coming period. [Mario Kart 7] Ultra Road - 1:36.547 - Gogoku7 (2nd Worldwide / European Record)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YQWK80rQ9T4/mqdefault.jpg)
![[Mario Kart 8] Rainbow Road former top 10 time
Ive been kicked out of the Worldwide top 10 twice now, and gotten back in.
I hope no one minds I will be using a camera and my Wii U GamePad for the moment to record videos.
Theres a few mistakes in this run, I can improve this to perhaps 2:06.4 soon, but 2:05.5 or something by Keke seems unbeatable for the moment.
Ive gotten more used to the game and this track, and learned bits about the SC thanks to Nyko, but I still absolutely hate both. Nonetheless, I am going to play only this track for a little bit longer until going back to play Mario Kart 7 Rainbow Road. ![[Mario Kart 7] DK Jungle - 1:56.323 - Gogoku7 (Country record)
I cant do the the damn Ray SC... ( )
Nonetheless, fine time, its about my limit, my best splits are only .041 faster.
This was ranked #5 on the Players Page on the moment it was made, and I guess about top 15 Worldwide?
2/2 normal Glider boosts I guess, theyre not really difficult it seems, just let go of the Slide pad and it nearly goes automatically. [Mario Kart 7] DK Jungle - 1:56.323 - Gogoku7 (Country record)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YumKeAx4Ros/mqdefault.jpg)
![[DeSmuME X432R: Super Mario 64 DS] 256 x 192 vs. 1024 x 768 comparison
This is a new video experiment that could turn into a new video series.
In this series I compare Nintendo DS games running in their native resolution, against those same games running in a resolution of 1024 x 768 using a DeSmuME X432R emulator.
DeSmuME X432R is a special build of the DeSmuMe emulator that allows you render Nintendo DS ROMs using OpenGL, run anti-aliasing even when the Nintendo DS does not support that in the first place and more image optimisation technology to enhance the video output quality of the Nintendo DS games But most importantly is that the DeSmuME emulator is able to render Nintendo DS games in a resolution of up to 16 times higher than what they originally were displayed at, which equals 1024 x 768.
DeSmuME X432R does not simply upscale, but uses advanced technology to actually improve video quality.
For Wii comparisons, head over to ThePixelPress:
http://www.youtube.com/thepixelpress
DeSmuME does not require extensive high-end computer specs to be able to run, but I advise to not render games in 1024 x 768 using a cheap low-end computer.
My personal computer has the following specs:
- Intel® Core™ i5-3330 Processor (6M Cache, 3.20 GHz)
- No video card
- 8 GB of RAM
- Windows 7 32-bits, which means only 3GB of RAM is actually used.
I do not support emulating, piracy or modifications to Nintendo products.
The game featured in this video is of legimately purchased copy.
Piracy harms consumers and the videogame industry.
Super Mario 64 DS is a licensed trademark of Nintendo. [DeSmuME X432R: Super Mario 64 DS] 256 x 192 vs. 1024 x 768 comparison](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YwXXMe4mcSg/mqdefault.jpg)

![[Mario Kart 7] Rainbow Road - 1:36.599 - Gogoku7 (European Record / 2nd Worldwide)
Fite me irl, Train. :)
Unhappy with this time by a longshot.
Really freaking bad time if you take away that ending, which I have no idea of how it is faster... Section 3 is so weird.
This run seemed to have potential for even a high 1:36.4xx if I had done the Tims Hamosphere correctly, but I got nervous and have never tried stunting on the Glider Pad at the end of the barrel... Oh well, better luck next time...
Splits:
Section 1: 32.166
Section 2: 35.384
Section 3: 29.049
Archievements so far:
- First of The Netherlands to do 1,2,3,4 and 5 European Records
- Third person to sub 1:37.000 with Old strats
- Second person to sub 1:36.700 (first in Europe)
- Second person to sub 1:36.600 (first in Europe) [Mario Kart 7] Rainbow Road - 1:36.599 - Gogoku7 (European Record / 2nd Worldwide)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZQZGm8afMfI/mqdefault.jpg)
![[Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology] 100% Quest completion
Sorry for the bad quality and the PSP shaking, but I planned to have PSP-2000 component AV cables to hook up my PSP screen to my TV... The cables werent available on the website I ordered them...
Ive had this game since September 2007 I think, it is my only PSP game, and Ive absolutely loved a lot of the content this game has, but it does have its major flaws in multiple things:
Item management
Gear up-grading
Perks in the side-skills
Level-up system
All I can say is that I am really happy, but a bit dissatisfied because the game only contains grinding up levels and upgrading gear until you are level 250 in all classes, which doesnt give you anything of a proper reward.
Also, the Artes Samedhi makes your character immume to staggering for 30 seconds, its exclusive to the Ninja Class, and makes it very overpowered. The fight with the R. Ninja would be really difficult without Samedhi.
All I can say is that I have future plans with this game, but for now I am going to get back to getting a new PS Vita charging cable to continue playing Persona 4. [Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology] 100% Quest completion](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZS31aWSZ6rs/mqdefault.jpg)

![[Mario Kart 7] Rainbow Road - Live 1:41.750 / Red Monster tires (August 2012)
Done using a modded 3DS that I had acces to during a Mario Kart 7 tournament held in the summer vacation of 2012 when I met Tim van Ham, Bowser, Dread, Mark, Miss Lost and MKgirlisms twinbrother who brought a laptop and 3DS with Capture Card to the event. NOT MINE. .o.
The 3DS / Mario Kart 7 copy that I could use barely had any Kart parts unlocked, so I used Red Monsters and Super Glider. [Mario Kart 7] Rainbow Road - Live 1:41.750 / Red Monster tires (August 2012)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZoIhzJajpGc/mqdefault.jpg)
