![[Pokémon Stadium Short] A surprise package containing 3 games!?
Surprise video time for the fans of the Pokémon Stadium Lets Play!
I am very happy to be the proud owner of these cartridges, even if they dont function anymore after all. :)
Pokémon Stadium as it is known in Japan, (We like to call it Pokémon Stadium 0 over here in the west) was a special version of Pokémon Stadium featuring only 42 Pokémon and 2 Cups (also known as Tournaments), those 2 Cups had an even higher difficulty level than anything featured in Pokémon Stadium 1 to my knowledge. (Pokémon Stadium 2 in Japan).
In one Cup, which was based on the Nintendo Cup 98 tournament, you could only use Pokémon of Levels 1 to 30.
Just like in Pokémon Stadium 1 Poké Cup and Prime Cup, it featured 4 difficulty levels, known in Japanese as Monster Ball (Poké Ball), Super Ball (Great Ball), Hyper Ball, and Master Ball.
In the other Cup, which was based on the Nintendo Cup 97 tournament, you could only use Pokémon of Levels 50 to 55.
Unlike Pokémon Stadium 2, there were NO CONTINUES in this game.
If you beat one Cup (Master Ball difficulty in case of Nintendo Cup 98), you unlock the Doduo Game Boy Tower. And if you beat both, you unlock the Dodrio Game Boy Tower.

Sorry that I got a little quiet at the end, one of my parents came upstairs. As soon as I finished my recording, they came into my room asking: Hi, who are you talking to? Lol... [Pokémon Stadium Short] A surprise package containing 3 games!?](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/toalsV1JHhs/mqdefault.jpg)
![[Super Smash Bros. Wii U] Gogoku7 (Falco) vs. Anonymous (Captain Falcon)
Online / With Friends / Smash
Port Town Aero Dive (Ω Form)
Falco, Captain Falcon
Dont take this serious at all, I just want some practice with Falco because his Amiibo is coming out at a later point.
I think my use of his lasers is the most optimal that you can do, because the opponent starts jumping to avoid it upon approaching, but then I myself start doing a short hop laser. I do also un purpose to get move staling off myother moves.
At 0:18, Anonymous asked me to Self destruct and I did 2 ledgedrops to mess with him, after that the real match started.
At 1:20, I really tried inputting the side B, but for some reason Falco started using his laser... Kinda lame kill.
At 2:25, I was already prepared for the spike with side B and was just waiting for him to jump and try to knee, side B, up air or down air. [Super Smash Bros. Wii U] Gogoku7 (Falco) vs. Anonymous (Captain Falcon)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/uRWZnypovtk/mqdefault.jpg)

Comment on run:
Section 1 is good, my previous time had an absurt leaning on the 3rd SMT, glad I got 7 Stunts in here.
Section 2 is as always really weird... Trust me, I missed the Glider Boost on the 2nd Glider on purpose, because going any faster would result in missing the double Stunt on the wavy part later, the timing for it is really specific.
The Moon section was alright, could have saved a little more, especially on the wall boost.
Section 3 absolutely blows my mind, I have been working on this strat optimisation since I got 1:36.547 on this track, and I FINALLY got this thing to work.
I have to say that this new Barrel route is really freaking difficult, and it requires a lot of luck (and skill...) to be shot out of the Barrel, into the Glider at the right angle to still be able to do the Glider Boost properly.
But the most important part is that you need to have a really fast Section 1 and Section 2 combined to even have a chance to do this strat.
The Glider Boost was really strong, I won just a little bit of time against my Ghost on it.
But now comes the final shortcut, I was really nervous because I could not see my own Ghost anymore, I just tried the best I could while I was shaking. Unfortunately, I still lost A LOT of time over this very bad final jump, I think a near perfect one which I used to be able to do would have allowed me to get a 1:36.1XX...
Extra comments:
After a good 1 year and 8 months of obsessing over improving my own Rainbow Road time over and over again, I finally get the World Record. I started actually aiming to beat the previous World Record when I suddenly got a 1:36.338 midway through May., so it took about a good month from there...
If I wasnt so busy with college, I could have probably done it sooner, but all ends well now with this.
I hear left and right that this is the longest stretch that anyone has ever worked for a World Record, and that I am the one who most deserves this World Record. But honestly, I think that Doco, who subbed 1:37.000 first with an outstanding 1:36.956 that lasted as World Record for 84 days straight, until Monar beat it thanks to new strat optimizations and the Blue Seven, which was an impressive run, but I personally dont think it was deserved compared to Doco. I think this run is kind of dedicated to Doco.
The biggest struggles of Rainbow Road are definitely the timing of the double Stunt on the wavy part in Section 2,
because going slower or faster than my previous Ghost was useless, it means youre gonna miss the double Stunt.
And the Glider Boost and final shortcut on Section 3.
Its debatable whether this is a 0-2-1 or 0-3-0 Mushrooms run, because I accidentally used my 3rd Mushroom 3 frames before entering Section 3, while the initial strat is to actually use it the same frame you enter Section 3.
Nevertheless, I still have the Mushroom Items boost for about 43 frames in Section 3, and the advantage of the Mushroom boost is still only noticeable in Section 3, therefore I would say it is a 0-2-1 Mushrooms strategy run.
I am not going to continue playing. And I dont care how short this World Record lasts, I got the record, and I am satisfied.
I spend about 2 hours editing this video to give it the quality it deserves, I hope you like it. I also made this video 1080p, to give it the quality it deserves after YouTubes horrible recompression.
First World Record with a 28 seconds Section 3, and first PR ever with a 28.8XX Section 3.
Q: Do you think 1:35.9XX is possible?
A: I think it technically is, since it should be possible to overcome the double Stunt hardships of Section 2, but I dont think it is within human skill levels to overcome the nerves in Section 3 and rediculous leanings on Section 1 needed for such time.
Q: Will Demon beat you?
A: Sooner or later... I dont know, ask him instead.
Q: Will You Monarchy come back?
A: He said
Probably, I wont play RR (Twitter).
Upon knowing that my time was 1:36.338 in the past. and I think that hes really not going to return.
I wont come back on MK7 (Skype) .
Upon knowing that I have World Record now.
Q: Why wont you continue playing?
