Played on an original N64 (PAL) cartridge, and recorded via high-speed USB with the Expansion Pak this my quest to fully complete Pokémon Stadium on both R-1 and R-2 which I've never done before! This is video #26/40 in the ongoing series!...
No.26 is the Petit Cup on the Stadium's R-2 mode (Round 2) where all the trainers have a higher A.I and all the opponent's Pokémon have much improved higher stats and HP!
For this cup my lineup was an awesome L30 Gastly with maxed stats and HP and a great moveset - Night Shade, Psychic, Thunderbolt and Confuse Ray! The other 5 Pokémon including my new recruit Charmander were all raised to L25 and given the best moves I could give them - Dratini and Charmander both armed with Dragon Rage, the fast Psychic Abra and powerhouse Pikachu from R-1 mode both with Thunder Wave (Dratini too) were no-brainers for the team and I had a backup Bellsprout! Somehow though I kept losing in the final and it was 3rd time lucky ;) Luck did actually play a part.
This was a really tough cup I'm still surprised it took 3 attempts to win lol!! The only cup (so far) in the game which has required multiple attempts, now I remember why I could never complete this game on R-2 when I was a kid it was because I never had a Transfer Pak to put my own Pokémon on there. "Thankyou eBay!" I can't say I'm the biggest fan fighting with unevolved low-level Pokémon though, glad that cup's complete!

So that's 26 uploads in and Pokémon Stadium is now 100% complete on R-1 mode and R-2 mode is well underway with over 25% complete! Nostalgia to the max and addictive gaming heaven!! :)
This 100% series will have a total of 40 uploads (20 each for R-1 and R-2 modes) as I doubt I'll be doing the Kid's Club games though unless someone really wants me to after.
I still have 12 more stars in Super Mario 64 to upload and will be trying to alternate uploads so both are 100% but have been focusing more on the first half of R-2 mode atm :) I finally have my teams ready for R-2 mode, so yeah, I've invested in this game. I figured completing this game 100% is a big project I may as well do it the best I can :) Feedback appreciated! Or is there a Pokémon you want to see me use!? Tell me and I'll see if I can get it in my lineup and get a win from it for my subscribers!
As most of you know I invested in another GBA-SP, Pokémon blue and a link cable so I can bring the best most exciting Pokémon to the party; and get great Pokémon ready for R-2!
