JP: はじめてのたんけん The First Exploration

• (3:58) Yeah, the series has always liked this sort of irony.

• (5:02) Team かまいたち Kamaitachi in Japanese, same as the move (which Zangoose and Scyther can learn); they make a brief cameo at the start of the MDTD anime special, getting kicked out of the guild for arguing about a mission reward. Kamaitachi (鎌鼬 sickle weasel) are weasel-like monsters from Japanese folklore, said to ride on whirlwinds and inflict slicing wounds on people. Sneasel and Weavile are directly based on this legend, though ironically they can’t use Razor Wind proper (although it’s a bad move in general, so it’s not like it matters).
• (6:12) 5 floors each, enemy levels on each floor respectively 1 / 10 / 20 / 25 / 35, cannot recruit. Beating them all nets you a Joy Seed (read: Rare Candy).
• (7:00) *slowly backs away* Incidentally, the JP dialogue is mostly just a wall of ellipses (and the "sea is so vast" comment).
• (10:00) …yes, I Wonder Mailed my new recruits and moves in; sorry, but I’m not a masochist. Also, it keeps the team consistent and is good prep for the post-credits. (But I’m not going to break the game by generating a ton of Golden Seeds or the like, I’m not THAT cheap.)
