Awful episode 39/100
Yikes… I didn’t know what to expect here, but Jesus this is pretty bad. By that, I mean this episode is downright cruel. And I don’t mean like mean-spirited isn’t up my alley, if it’s done right, I can look past it. But it doesn’t here.
Ash meets a trainer named AJ, and I hate him. All he does is act cruel to his own Pokémon, even acting whiny for petty reasons. He runs his gym like boot camp, even goes as far as whipping his Pokémon! Like what the hell?! Oh, and even his Pokémon are dumb too. When Ash tries to help, no one cares. Like why?
And the episode goes to even say, oh he just wants his Pokémon to be good and stay strong, when like I said, he acts whiny for petty reasons. I do not buy that at all considering how he acts. It’s not a good thing if Jessie and James make better trainers, and they steal Pokémon every chance they get!
Maybe there was something I’m missing, but I just don’t see what good this one did. Just makes me wanna slap AJ’s face for his behavior.
