As a result of all the PokemonChallenges I’ve been watching lately, I decided to hardcore nuzlocke Pokémon Emerald for the first time. I’m not a content creator and I’m screen recording off my phone without editing the video itself so I don’t feel the need to “verify” the rules I’m about to list that I was playing with. This video is the result of a single play through where I caught 26 total species of pokémon and had 6 fainted (including the absol in the video) by the end of the run.
• Only caught the first encounter on every new route/area, dupes clause active
• Didn’t over level past the next gym leader and for the elite 4 run I figured halfway through the gauntlet (Glacia, lv. 53) was a good cap to finish the game
• No items in battle, held or medicinal
• All fainted pokémon were permanently dead
Edit 23 hours later: I just remembered I’m playing on an emulator so I have the save file duh, not that it matters tho
