This is one of my favorite arrangements that I've done. I started it a long time ago and it ended up going through a number of iterations before I ended up with what you see here.
The A section (m. 1-22) has sweeping left hand hand arpeggios that flow up and down the lower half of the piano, under a simple single-line melody. It starts the piece off with a vast sweeping sound to build an adventurous scene, but showing some restraint and not sounding super grand.
The B section (m. 23-37) starts out more reserved, with the left hand arpeggios being simpler and in a more confined space - just sailing along smoothly on the sea. Then it starts to build up, adding some more voices and covering a wider range...
The C section (m. 39-54) is where all the stops come out and the harmonies, bass, and arpeggios come together to create a bold rich sound that exudes the excitement of riding on the open seas. It then slowly winds down for a smooth transition back to the beginning section.
