*I chose the female protagonist because I didn't like the "Naruto" gimmick styled design that the male protagonist received in this ROM. The Elite 4 in this ROM are color based with their Pokemon instead of type based. A very nice and surprising change."
"Pokemon: Blazed Glazed" is an improved version of the original Pokemon Glazed rom rack. Both games are ROM hacks of Pokemon: Emerald version. "Blazed Glazed" features new moves from Generations 4-6 that weren't present in the original "Glazed" version. The physical and special split between moves was added in the original ROM hack and remains in "Blazed Glazed".
This hack was a lot of fun considering I am not a fan of the 3rd generation of Pokemon games. The new moves are the reason why I chose Blazed Glazed over the more updated and complete Glazed version. Blazed Glazed also changes the elemental types of certain Pokemon.
Feraligtr is Water/Dark in this hack. The author also weakened several Mythical and Legendary Pokemon in their stats (Like Mewtwo). The same applies to other Pokemon. Dragonite for example loses 14 points in Attack and gains 14 in Special Attack. This made no sense since it doesn't doesn't change Dragonite at all. It still Attacks very well and it's Special Attack is still average even with 14 points added. The challenge was also more difficult than expected, which was a surprise and welcomed. A very fun ROM hack and highly recommended to those who love the 3rd Generation of Pokemon games.
