This can only occur in Double and Triple Battles. If one of your pokémon uses Sky Drop first, and then the other uses Gravity while the other pokémon are in the semi-invulnerable stage, Gravity will stop Sky Drop and take the targed and the user of Sky Drop down, but the target can't move until the Sky Drop user faints or switches out.
