Hey everyone!
After we beat Clay, we go down to where the Cold Storage used to be, and head towards the World Tournament! In this, we face 3 trainers, until we become the champion of that tournament, this one's fixed, so we don't face any random trainers, and in this, we face Rival (Beto), Cheren, and finally Achroma, a scientist we first meet in Castelia!
The Tournament has you choosing 3 Pokémon, so I chose Rogue, Snivy, and Toxic!
First round: Beto!
He uses his starter first, in my case, Pignite, Rogue easily kicks his ass with Bone Rush, and if you have a good, overleveled Water-Type or Ground-Type, here's your chance to use it! After the starter, comes that annoying ape that's weak to your own starter, Simipour... It's not hard to defeat it, in fact, it's really easy, but seeing that ape being used by your Rival who's supposed to kick ass is just really annoying! Anyway, it'll go down easily if you know what to do. Finally, Tranquill, the Gen V version of Pidgey/Wingull/Starly, if it isn't easy, you're doomed, literally, because this bird is almost impossible to lose to. And after your rival comes...
Second round: Cheren!
All I have to say is... Get a Fighting-Type. Stoutland goes down in at least 2 hits, and at most 4 hits, if your Pokémon's weak, Cinccino is fragile, so 1 or 2 hits is enough to defeat it, and Watchhog basically makes you think you're facing Team Plasma, 1 hit and it's done. And that's how easy Cheren is this time, the battle for the badge was a LOT harder than this. And then comes...
Final round: Corless!
This guy can actually cause trouble, and that's why he's in the finals with you, he comes with a Magneton, Elgyem and Klink. Magneton can be really hard, if you have no Pokémon that's strong against it, Rogue kicked its ass thanks to Force Palm, although Bone Rush can also help. Elgyem... If it had Levitate, I swear I'd never be able to defeat it with Rogue, since Bone Rush would be useless, Force Palm does nothing to it, and Quick Attack isn't that useful either, but thankfully, it has no Levitate, so Bone Rush sealed the deal. And finally, Klink, it's the easiest of them all, a Fire-Type or Fighting-Type will get it down easily.
And with that you become the champion! You get out, everyone congratulates you, and then you go down to the dock, where you find Team Plasma's ship! You'll be surrounded by Team Plasma, and have to battle two of them, followed by a Double Battle with Cheren's help, and finally with your Rival's help, or rather you help THEM. I'm disappointed with these battles, though, the trailer showed that these Plasmas had a Seviper, a Metagross, and a Klinklang if I'm not mistaken, so why do they have weak Poison-Types and Normal-Types like they're Team Rocket?
Anyway, after you defeat them, one of the Sages appears, as well as the Shadow Triad, and you're taken off the ship, which disappears, Cheren tells you to go to Route 6 and meet him, and after that, you go off to Mistralton to get the 6th Gym Badge from Skyla!
