This is now probably my favourite song that I've ever done. When researching all of the Pokemon themes, this is one of the ones that stood out to me as not just a great intro but a great song. I've had it in my Spotify playlist for a couple of months now, it's such a good song.
This is the kind of stuff that I love to play. The rhythm part is interesting and not just boring 4/4 power chords, and of course it has a fun solo to play as well.
After Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald I didn't play Pokemon for a good few years, but X/Y was the series I came back to. I loved the introduction of the 3D models, it brought so much life to the Pokemon, and the moves looked a lot more interesting.
