It begins! The journey to finally COMPLETE a playthrough of a gen 4 game (something Ive somehow never done before?) starts with this SUPER UNDER ODDS Shiny Turtwig! Im so glad to be lucky with this particular hunt, because it was a slow single system soft reset hunt that I didnt particularly enjoy streaming, and my luck isnt typically great. I have more time travel buddy run plans... I found my favorite Pokémon ever in Gold Virtual Console, and soon enough, hell make the journey to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
EDIT1: THIS BUDDY RUN JUST GOT A LOT MORE INTERESTING! FARIGIRAF REVEALED??? HUH??? WHAT??? SORRY??? PARDON??? FOR ME??? IS THIS FOR ME??? Girafarig gets an evolution… Bulbapedia added an evolution to the Girafarig page… no way… this can’t be real… They made this game for me.

It does seem like, as far as full odds hold random encounters, despite the games being out for over 20 years, I was the first to upload finding shiny girafarig in gold on YouTube.
