I really love Pokemon X and Y, but they're notoriously easy to Nuzlocke. Can I actually make these games hard by only using trash Pokemon and adding a few extra rules to the hardcore nuzlocke?

Normal Nuzlocke Rules:
1. If your Pokemon faints it must be released
2. I can only catch the first Water Type Pokémon on each Route
3. I must nickname my Pokémon

Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
4. No items in battle (held items are fine)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4's highest level Pokemon (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
