Well I certainly did not expect to get this right off the cusp of achieving 3:11, but certainly welcome! This run had a similar start to my 3:11, but caught Drilbur first ball this time which really started to give this run momentum. Clay was a devastating split between a bad Watchog and not getting the flinch on Sandslash. However my Skyla split was really good to make up for it and brought the momentum back. Follow that up with a community best E4 and somehow I scrape out a 3:10. Really happy to start bringing my PB down to times I feel I deserve for the amount of effort and grinding I’ve put in.
I’m going to keep grinding to stay sharp for my ESA run coming up on July 28th (you should definitely tune in by the way, see
horaro.org/esa/2023-summer2 for when my run is in local time), and hopefully pick up a 3:09 while I’m at it ;)
