Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are the second iterations of the Pokemon series tackling an open-world approach. In what is by far my favorite Pokemon story since Pokemon Black and White 2, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a marvelous new approach to Pokemon albeit one with plenty of caveats.
