My first foray into the world of BambooTracker as I've wanted to give it a chance for some time now. A somewhat familiar interface in relation to that of FamiTracker and its derivations so that definitely helps things!
The purpose of the track was just to try and start finding my feet with a new sound chip (YM2608). Get a proper idea of what I could use the software for and whether it could work for some of my projects further down the line. I'm happy to say that I really think it could open up some ideas so excited to work with it more!
As a result, I chose a rather simple tune from Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal that I simplified down even further - the Cherrygrove City & Mahogany Town shared theme! I was trying to hit a vibe that could be akin to that you'd see from a night theme, in contrast to the more treble-heavy regular theme.
