Pokemon Fusion Special: Original Dragon | Reshiram x Zekrom x Kyurem | Tao Trio
The Tao trio is the three powerful Legendary Pokémon of the Unova Region: Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. According to Unova myths, the Legendary trio was created during the war plaguing the region. They were once a single powerful Dragon Pokémon used by twin heroes in order to create the Unova region. But the brothers each sought something different in life—truth for the older brother and ideals for the younger—and they began to argue, then fight, over whose side was right. The single dragon, in response, split into two Pokémon: Reshiram and Zekrom. A third dragon was "created" from the leftovers: Kyurem.
Let's talk about design and theories.
We all know that Tao trio is based on Yin Yang and The Three Essentials. In this fusion, I used The Three Essentials more for the concept. So here is what I thought:
-Prime Matter: Original Dragon, pure power
-The Two Contraries (children of Prime Matter): Reshiram and Zekrom, created from splitting Original Dragon.
-The Third Essential (child of the two above): Kyurem, the leftover after the splitting, the body
As Kyurem is an empty shell (explained by how its eyes don't have pupil), it needs to be filled with "Truth" or "Ideal". Through "Absofusion", it gains either power (Black/White Kyurem).Similarily, in Alchemy, the Third Essentail freezes the the two into physical form. It represents the body.
If Kyurem was the leftover of the splitting, then the Original Dragon might have already consisted Kyurem, which acted as the body.
So then, the Original Dragon isn't the Prime Matter. It's the Three Essentials combined. And it's also not Kyurem's original form.
Anyway, in this fusion, I used all Black, White and Gray as it's 3 in 1. The ice parts keep Black and White in the body. By thrawing the ice, the Pokemon splits into three.
