so for those who aren’t aware, my good buddies kalbur & kamex started up a tag a while back in celebration of Pokémon’s 20th anniversary, wherein participants are to remix one of the most classic pokemon themes there is—the pokémon center theme. it can be in any genre/style/whatever, and can even take inspiration from any iteration of the theme over the years: the whole point is to kind of bring together the community in a fun way for such an important occasion. and, this is my entry in the tag. took a while to finish it haha, but i’m glad i took my time on it.
oh, and… by all means, if there’s anyone who follows me that wants to hop in on the fun, go ahead! you don’t have to be tagged to participate, the more the merrier you know :)
so for this, i wanted to try the same style of music i attempted to make for my holiday remix this year (the kirby one). it’s kinda disco-y? but not. it’s like slow and hopefully funky, but not really all that funky. i don’t know how to describe it. but i had fun making it. i also think it sounds much better than the kirby remix, a little more balanced i think. i had a lot of fun changing the main melody to be more melancholic through the key change, the pokecenter is honestly not my favourite theme in the series so i took it as a challenge to make something more along the lines that i’d like personally. hope other people like it too! :)))
