Excuse the juvenile names, I recently did a solo Weedle run through Pokemon Blue, which entailed beating the game battling with nothing but a single Weedle from start to finish. After succeeding with it and my tweet about it getting some attention on Twitter, I decided to beat the Elite Four again and record it. Sorry for all the frame drops, I abused the speedup function on my emulator to prevent this video from going on forever, and it seems to have resulted in many frames being dropped throughout the video, though you should be still able to tell what is going on.
For the strategy, it all revolves around the X Items, without them Weedle with Poison Sting is just way too weak, you'll need to buff up Weedle as much as you can with them to win. If you want to see the specific things I have to say regarding each individual trainer, look at my pinned comment and I'll have my thoughts there, as it's too big to fit in this description.
