The third trainer of the Elite Four is Caitlin (Cattleya in the Japanese version), a Psychic-type user that has psychic powers herself. As you might remember, Caitlin was on the side of Castle Valet Darach of the Battle Frontier on Generation IV. However, here she has grown and fights on her own.
Word of God says that there's a 13 year gap between Gen IV and Gen V, so this makes sense.
This is the first fight of the E4 I have no type advantage on, so I decided to simply overpower with Flare Blitz. It worked quite well...until McDonalds killed himself, anyways.
