"Cyndy, isn't time you left this area? It sure has been a while since you've arrived..." said the elderly man.

"Well perhaps, but I really don't have anywhere to go to..." Cyndy replied softly. "I... well I'd rather not say." The man scratched his head and kindly walked away. "I know I can't live here, but..." she trailed off as a cool breeze blew by.

"Well well, if it isn't Cyndy." said a familiar voice.

"M-M-Max! What are you doing here?!" Cyndy said in shock as she turned around.

"It has been a while, hasn't it?"

"Not long enough." she responded in a bitter tone. "After what you did... I never wanted to see you again. Why are you here? Up to no good I can only assume."

"You know what assuming leads to, don't you?" Max chuckled "Besides, who says I haven't changed at all... and who says it was just me who did all those bad things?" Cyndy's face flushed and she became flustered.

"It was a mistake to listen to yo-" she was cut off as Max grabbed her by the wrist.

"You don't really believe that, do you? Come now, you and me... we are like two peas in a pod." Cyndy quickly gave Max a push and knocked him back.

"If you don't leave me alone, I'll... I'll..." Cyndy was filling up with anger as she reached for a Pokeball in her fanny pack.

"A battle it is then." Max chuckled. "You'll only lose, just like you lost everything that night. You horrible girl."

"You have no right to judge me. You are worse than me."
