A big parade is being thrown on Main Street and there are plenty of people out and about looking to have fun. Many of these people are Pokemon Trainers. People who raise Pokemon they caught, found or were given in order to battle. Most of them gain exceptional skill throughout many years of training and build a close bond with their Pokemon. Daisy, a young lass who has been wandering around this festive scene, is indeed no exception.
"Gnarly scene. Everyone looks like they are having so much fun. Hmm..." Daisy had been walking around and admiring the parade, but at the same time she was devising a way to get noticed, not only as a fashionable lady, but as a strong Pokemon Trainer as well. "Oh, there has to be something I can do. I wish they had Pokemon Contests here." she sighed.
"Pokemon Contests, those are for sissy trainers who can't compete in the real world." said a girl a couple years younger than Daisy. "I don't think any coordinator could ever beat a -real- trainer."
Daisy rolled her eyes as she let out a sigh. "Pardon me? I believe you have it backwards. Only the strongest and most elegant trainers do contests and the weak and foolish concentrate on brutish battling."
"You trying to say something girl?" snapped the young lady who was now up in Daisy's face.
"What if I am? ... greenhorn." Daisy said in an emotionless way while she averted her gaze back to the parade. She didn't particularly care for such tasteless banter.
"... You are quite sassy for being an old woman, yo-" and before the girl could finish her sentence, Daisy turned her head and gave her a horrible, dead cold gaze.
"If that is how you really feel, then let us battle and prove which is better. Elegance, grace and clear thinking or bone headed, head on attacking."
"F-f-fine! I'll accept your challenge you crazy lady." stammered the girl.
