I had a reason to reset my game, that will be revealed in due time, and I wanted to beat the Legendary Beast Trio Raikou, Suicune and Entei without Poké Assist; hence is why this video exists. This is a one off thing so don't expect more to pop-up.
Raikou is the easiest, I'm almost certain I achieved this in the video main series.
Suicune is a pain in the ass. Suicune spawn 2 mirage Suicune's and you have to (lack of a better word) break them before they run amuck. So the general strat is, circle around the 2 clones, forcing Suicune to spawn more clones, circle around them as soon as they spawn, rinse and repeat. This is more difficult then what I'm letting on because you may circle around the real Suicine, and if you don't react fast enough then it can break your circle streak. Another thing you need to worry about is Aroma Beam, which Suicune has the ability to angle in multiple direction; my tip (if you can) is to cancel your spin (essentially circling around an empty area) to make the styler length smaller, I also suggest you return the the original styler position to increase you chances of dodging the Aroma Beam (2:08).
You need to be patent, spin fast, react quickly to Suicune spawns and Aroma Beam; honestly, not worth it. Just use a Poke Assist as it's soooo much easier.
Entei was the hardest to discover it's window of opportunity for the save capture, but once discovered it wasn't too difficult to handle.
First phase, you need to stop the ring-of-fire surrounding Entei, just complete 1 circle, release your styler, rinse and repeat to stun lock Entei by making it use the move Flamethrower (3:22), giving you enough time to remove the flames. Do be careful as Entei does have some invincible-frames when spawning the fire pillars, preventing the counter from lowering (3:42).
Second phase, I had a brain-fart in this video but what you should do is circle around Entei to lift it up, circle around Entei once it drops, get as many circles as possible before the first Flamethrower is throw out, circle as fast as you can again before the second Flamethrower is used, finish the remaining circles to capture Entei. It might take a little bit of practice but it is do-able.
Overall, a Poke Assist / 10. If you want to try it then go nuts but for the average person I recommend you just you Poke Assist, it will save you the headache of the fire pillars and mirage Suicune ruining your styler counter.
